Templates in Diri are pre-filled risk assessments you can use as a starting point instead of beginning from scratch. Many cloud applications, for example, share similar risks, assets and treatments. Instead of repeating the same work, you create a template with these common elements and reuse it.
Templates help you standardise and speed up risk assessments. Once created, they can be reused by your team and shared with sub-organisations — especially useful if you assess similar systems or services regularly.
Templates belong to a module. In the left menu, open Templates under Operational risk, Cyber security or Privacy. The page Your templates lists the templates available to you in that module, including templates inherited from a parent organisation.
A template can hold the registration details, the bowtie (events, causes and consequences), treatments, assets, threats and vulnerabilities. You choose what to include when you create a template, and what to copy when you use it.
Note: Including items from a template can create duplicates in their respective lists, for example in the treatment list. Templates work best with assets, events, causes and consequences. Review for duplicates after applying a template.
