What is a template and why should you create templates?
A template is a set of unwanted events, causes, and consequences that you can reuse in risk analysis work. With a template, you facilitate and streamline the process of identifying risks and can focus on assessing the likelihood and severity.
You want to create a template with general risks that you can reuse multiple times, for example, to assess the risks of an IT system or a processing activity.
Here's how you do it in Diri:
If you already have a risk assessement that you want to use as a template for other assessements, you can go to "templates" under "manage" in the left menu.
Then, select "add template", name the template, upload the risk analysis you want to use as a template and choose which fields you want to include in the template. Save the template by pressing “submit”.
Now you can use the template when you conduct a new risk assessment. You do this by selecting "add from template" instead of "add new."
