The Report Designer is a powerful beta feature that allows you to build your own reports using a combination of structured data and free text. The purpose of this feature is to give you the ability to create report templates that stay up to date automatically as work progresses and new information is registered in the system.
Just like your dashboard, the Report Designer uses a widget-based layout. You can drag in tables, charts, metrics, and explanatory text to build structured, easy-to-read reports that fit your organization’s needs.
Build reports using dashboard widgets – tables, graphs, indicators, summaries, and more.
Add text widgets to include commentary, explanations, or section headers.
Apply filters to each component, for example, only show IT systems connected to a specific risk assessment.
Save report templates so you can revisit and reuse them at any time.
Access live data each time you open a report—no need to rebuild or re-export.
Export to PDF or generate shareable versions for audits, management reviews, or compliance documentation.
Imagine you want to generate a report that shows all IT systems linked to a specific risk assessment called “Diri Risk Assessment”:
Open the Report Designer.
Add a Table widget.
Set the data source to IT Systems.
Apply a filter:
Connected Risk Assessment = “Diri Risk Assessment”
The table now dynamically lists only relevant systems.
Add a Text block above it to describe what the table shows.
Optionally, add a chart widget to visualize risk levels across the systems.
Save the whole layout as a template.
Whenever you reopen the report, it reflects the most up-to-date data.
