Welcome to Diri! This guide will help you get started with privacy management and GDPR compliance using Diri’s built-in tools and templates. Diri comes with predefined content in several areas, this guide shows how to make use of it.
- Log in to Diri and go to the Tasks overview.
- Here you will find a set of ready-made privacy tasks designed to help your organization comply with GDPR and best practices.
- Each task is clearly named and includes a short description of what needs to be done.
- Each task is not isolated—it’s connected to relevant guidelines, routines, IT systems, vendors, risk assessments, and documentation.
- When you open a task, you’ll see direct links to everything you need to complete it, ensuring you always have the right context and supporting materials.
- Processing Activities (RoPA): Tasks related to processing activities are linked to your record of processing activities, so you can easily update documentation as you work.
- DPIA & Pre-DPIA: If a task requires a risk assessment, you can jump straight to the DPIA or Pre-DPIA feature, and the results are automatically linked back to the relevant processing activity and task.
- Policies, Treatments, IT systems, and Vendors: Tasks often reference or require you to review policies, implement security measures, or check vendor agreements. All these elements are cross-linked, so you never have to search for the right document or contact.
- Guidelines and Policies: Access templates for privacy policies, procedures, and routines.
- Treatments: Find suggested security and privacy measures linked to tasks.
- IT Systems and Vendors: Document data flows, responsibilities, and agreements.
- DPIAs and Risk Assessments: Start and manage DPIAs directly from tasks or processing activities.
- Incident and Non-conformity registration: Register, analyse, and treat incidents in Diri.
- Records and Documentation: All actions and documents are stored and accessible from the relevant task.
- Start with mapping processing activities and publishing privacy notices.
- Establish routines for handling data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability).
- Regularly review and update privacy documentation and risk assessments.
- Use Diri’s dashboard to monitor compliance status and outstanding actions.
Tip: Diri’s integrated approach ensures that all privacy-related activities are documented, traceable, and easy to manage—helping your organization stay compliant and efficient.
